Originally from Wellesley, Dr. Jonathan Stephens graduated from Roxbury Latin School and proceeded to earn his Bachelor of Arts at Amherst College. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois Chicago, where he obtained his MD, and Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, which awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Stephens competed his general surgery internship through Tulane University and his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Mt. Sinai / Jacobi in New York City.
A board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Stephens is currently a clinical instructor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he relishes the ability to help educate the next generation of dentists and oral surgeons.
He attends numerous continuing education activities in dental implants, trauma surgery, and aesthetic dentistry. He is active in the professional community through memberships in the Massachusetts Dental Society, Massachusetts Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, AO Foundation, and American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
At home, Dr. Stephens has a wonderful wife, Tiana, and a young daughter named Sage. He is an art lover and avid snowboarder. When he’s not in the office, you can find Dr. Stephens in nature, whether he’s hiking or mountain biking.
